Puppy Contract

S&S Blue Haven Danes is a Hobby Breeder. We breed quality Danes for quality people. We are not in the "Show World", not saying that our Danes wont produce show quality Danes, because in most litters there will be at least one. We have the right to breed any color that we see fit to breed. There will be no "In-Breeding","Line-Breeding", or "Cross-Breeding". All Danes will be vet checked, all litters will be vet checked and UTD on shots, along with proper de-worming. We hold true to our contracts. Please read carefully before signing.

Said Puppy

    1) S & S Blue Haven Danes warrants that the above described puppy/dog is a purebred Great Dane registerable with the American Kennel Club (AKC).

    2)  S & S Blue Haven Danes warrants that the above-described puppy/dog is in good health at the time Buyer assumes ownership.

   3) If, as a result of an examination within the first 72 hours, the Veterinarian determines that the said puppy/dog is not in good health then the Buyer shall decide to keep the puppy/dog or return the puppy/dog to S & S Blue Haven Danes. If the buyer decide to return the puppy, Buyer shall, within 10 days after the date of the signing of this contract, send puppy/dog to Seller(SSBH Danes), at buyers expense, with a certified statement from a licensed Veterinarian, stating the condition of said puppy/dog at time of examination. If, the buyer decides to keep the ill puppy after the 72 hours is up and the Vet has determined an/the illness or condition that the buyer is aware of, then the health gaurentee is in void. (Meaning that if buyer has taken the puppy to the vet and the vet stated of a condition and the buyer decides on keeping the said puppy, then at that time the health gaurentee is no longer active.) If, the buyer has purchased a puppy and has had the puppy examined by the Licensed Vet, and there is NO illness or condition at the time of examination,  S & S Blue Haven Danes stands by a One Year Health Guarentee.(Meaning, that said puppy is in good health before and after (72 hours) purchase, and the puppy is under a health gaurentee with SSBHD, then the puppy will be replaced with another puppy only IF the said puppy takes sick or a health condition occurs
(hip displacia,esaphgladias,ect.) that is not at the fault of the buyer.

   4) After the said puppy is returned to seller (S & S Blue Haven Danes), buyer has the option of another puppy, if one is available at that time. If a puppy is not available then buyer will agree to wait on a puppy from the next litter.

            NO MONIES WILL BE REFUNDED!!!

5) Ownership of the said puppy/dog will be transferred to the Buyer for the sale price of $________ to be paid as follows: $_______ deposit, with the agreement of the balance of $_______ to be paid before the puppy/dog leaves S & S Blue Haven Danes premises. If the balance is not paid by ________, this Agreement shall be cancelled and the Buyer forfeits all monies paid given hereunder, and the said puppy will be placed for re-sell.....

NO MONIES WILL BE REFUNDED!

6) Buyer is responsible for ALL shiping cost, rather it be ground shipment, or by airfreight.

7) Buyer agrees to provide proper food,water, and shelter for said puppy. SSBHD ask, if there be a time in your life that the said puppy/dog can not be properly taken care of that the said puppy/dog be returned to

S & S Blue HavenDanes for the remainder of his/her life,or re-homed by SSBHD if we decide that, that is the best interest of the puppy/dog. If this occurs,

NO MONIES WILL BE REFUNDED!!!!!!

8) Limited Registration: If a puppy is sold on Limited Registration, the buyer is aloted 10 months to spay/neuter said puppy. If in the case of a blind or deaf puppy, the same applies. After the 10 month period and no proof is given, then the contract is in breech, and SSBHD has the right to retrieve the said puppy. ________(SSBHD)_______(Buyers Intials)

9) All S & S Blue Haven Danes puppies will be raised underfoot and well socialized, after leaving SSBHD premises, puppy is the sole responsiblity of the buyer and SSBHD is not responsible for future behavior and temperment of said puppy.

10) After One Year, SSBHD is no longer responsible for any health gaurentees.

Both parties have agreed to this contract and every content wherein with their signature.
