Terms of Contract
Please Warrant at this time that you are not a breeder running what is known as a “Puppy Mill,” and that you will strive to place all puppies into qualified homes.
Every effort will be made to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your female while she is in our care, and specific instructions will be carefully followed. However, under NO circumstances will the Stud Dog Owner be legally responsible for the female’s
actions, or in the event of injury or loss. Aggression, uncontrollable or destructive behavior will be cause to return the female to her owner, with no refund.
The Stud Dog will breed this female as soon as she will stand, and subsequently every day for as long as she is willing to stand or until the Stud Dog indicates he is finished breeding the female.
The owner(s) of the female will be responsible for all veterinary fees related to her care.
The female’s Owner is responsible for the delivery of the female to the Stud Dog Owner’s premises or a previously agreed upon meeting point.
It is agreed that this female will not be sold while she is in whelp. Both parties understand the fewer times that the dog and female tie, the fewer pups result, I also further understand that there is no guarantees on the amount of pups per litter. The female must be current on all shots and free of any infections. If the first breeding does not take, we will allow a breeding at the following heat cycle, but after that there is no guarantee, as I know my sire is proven.
I understand that the stud fee is $__________ and the money is half due when I bring my female to the Stud Dog and they tie the first time. I also understand that there may be a possible trade for a puppy, and that this agreement is made by both of us and that if we choose to do a puppy in lieu of monies, that the puppy must be register-able with FULL AKC registration,Breeding rights, current on all vaccinations, and worming, and in good health.

In the event of a Puppy Trade, there will be another Contract made out for that puppy(see below), to be sure it is in writing that the puppy goes to the Stud Dog Owner for the fee’s. In the event of only one live puppy being born then that puppy will automatically be the Stud Dog owners. In the event that the picked puppy dies at the female owners home, then the stud owner will get to pick again. The Stud owner will get first pick of litter and be given at least 2 weeks to pick out their puppy before any puppies of the litter can be shown or claimed.
I understand that I need to contact the Stud Owners on the date of whelping.
Additional Terms
There will be no puppy contract with the female owner/breeder in regaurds to the said puppy. The said puppy will only carry the name that the Stud owner gives to the said puppy. If for any reason the breeder and the stud owner decide to have any type of contract it will only state that the said Puppy will be in good health, vet checked, UTD on shots and de-wormed. The contract will also state that the puppy will no longer be the responsibility of the female owner and the female owner will have no legal ties to the said puppy, after the pup is in the care of the Stud owner, and/or the puppy will be picked out of the litter in payment for stud fee’s.
If the female owner has chosen to pay a stud fee the remaining balance is due within 90 days after the breeding process.
The Stud dog can be brought to the female for free with-in a 25 mile distance from my residence..(Anything over 25 miles, there will be a gas fee)
I have read and understand this contract fully. If this contract is breeched, the registration number of the Stud will not be released to the Dam Owner and therefore the litter will not be registerable.
